Only really uploading here for ease of sharing amongst my friends, honestly.

I wanted to get back into making stuff with GML as I had a fairly solid grasp of it as a child but stopped making games as I got older, so I set out to make my own modified version of some of Game Maker's tutorials they have on their website.

Changes I made:
Shield! You're completely invulnerable while using this, but you cannot propel yourself forward nor can you shoot.
Small tweaks! Friction, custom variables to help check what's going on, so on and so forth.
Game over screen! I drew my own game over screen using GML to tell the player they died and display their final score.
Custom sounds and music!
